Mari graduated from the University of Canberra with an Applied Science degree and went on to complete a Master of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Wollongong.
Since gaining qualifications, she has worked as a dietitian at:
Calvary Hospital, ACTACT Diabetes ServiceThrosby Place Eating Disorders Program
In 2004, she joined Canberra Bariatric as a private nutrition consultant, while continuing to work at Calvary Hospital. More recently, Mari left the public sector to broaden her private practice in a part-time capacity.
During her years of employment, Mari has done additional studies in education and further training in counselling. She believes motivation and information are key ingredients to assist clients in adopting healthy lifestyles.
